Muskie Merc Swimbait Rod

This rod exceeded all expectations of what I ordered. I’ve got two omega xh, as well as a xxh dirty dragon rod. For my lighter stuff the xh omega is my go to for stuff up to the 6/7oz range. I’ve thrown kings, hinkle trout, as well as some fish everything g300s with the dirty dragon, but felt like it was missing something and a tad on the stiff side. Then the merc rod hit the market, and now my biggest regret is not purchasing one when they were first released. This rod is a dream to fish, I’ve paired it with a Calcutta 400md and it’s balanced very well with that reel. It cast the heavier baits effortlessly, and loads perfectly. I fished for 6 hours yesterday, and could have fished all day with the rod in hand. I don’t have anything negative to say about the rod, and if funds allow it, I’ll be purchasing another here shortly.
