Love this rod, been fishing it in the salt with A-rigs and big glides, caught a bunch of Striper and a few good halibut on it in the week I’ve had it. Rod bends great, super sensitive, casts far, pairs well with both a 200 and 300 size reel. I’ve been running 40lb braid on a 300 lexa tws and it’s been money. While rated 2-6oz I’d say it runs a little light, fishes with a sweet spot at around 3oz.

Newer to the glide bait/swim bait scene and was looking to get a rod for throwing bigger baits. I wasnt wanting to spend $400-$500 for a rod. Kept looking and always seemed to find myself back on the Leviathan website. Decided to pull the trigger on the heavy. I am impressed! Absolutely love the rod! Cant get over how light the rod is and how good it feels in hand. Can throw bigger baits all day and not get tired. Highly recommend anyone in the market to look into Leviathan rods. Plan on getting a medium/heavy in the near future.
