Excellent build quality evident as soon as I opened the case. I love the weight of the rod, and the feel and action with larger baits, I have had issues getting my reel to seat properly (Daiwa Tatula 300) and it has lateral play towards the butt end of the rod no matter how many times I seat and unseat the reel. I’ve ordered a small rubberized boot that should resolve the issue, but I was surprised that a rod of this quality/price had such a major issue. Shelved the rod for now until the reel boot arrives.
I travel a fair amount for work and needed to get a travel rod for slinging glide baits on the go. This rod has performed perfectly! Besides the fact you can take it apart to travel with, it’s still a great rod for everyday use. Which is what I have been doing. I recommend anyone with similar interests as my own to pick them one up. You won’t be disappointed.
This rod is by far the best feeling rod I have felt that is 3 pieces. All the components are top quality and beautifully crafted together. The rod is still extremely sensitive and works for soft and hard baits very well.
